Alzheimer’s disease patients are increasingly dying at home instead of at a hospital, senior living community or skilled nursing facility. That’s according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on deaths from Alzheimer’s disease. Alzheimer’s, a fatal form of dementia, is the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S.
