CMS Releases Additional QAPI MaterialsEarlier this week, CMS released introductory materials and additional resources and on the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement . The materials are in addition to the initial QAPI “at a glance” document that was released earlier this year. Recall, provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) directs HHS to provide technical assistance and to promulgate regulations for nursing homes to implement a QAPI system.
